These pieces of wood were left over from the hollowing out of a log a friend of mine did. I had fun putting the log back together again, just a little expanded.
I like the way it comes from the landscape it rests in.
This is actually three separate sculptures that function as one. The idea was to make a big sculpture for indoors with the limitation of an ordinary size door.
I did enjoy the quickness and lightness of working with wood this way.
