I have done several pieces of furniture using the pyrex glass manufactured for the space shuttle windows. It comes in 7/8″ and 2 1/4″ thicknesses, and is very expensive. I saved all the scraps, and they eventually found their way into this sculpture. It looks great when it catches the light just right.

48″ x 10″ x 10″I really like the way the steel and copper have stained the glass as they have aged outdoors. Indoors the effect would be totally different. I would love to see it hung indoors.
