Head 5

 

This chunk of Ohio sandstone was pulled from the banks of a creek. I almost want to go put it back, carved, just so that someday a passing hiker will see it in the mud and wonder… how fun would it be to see his/her expression on finding it staring up from the bank?

 

 

 

 

This view of the same stone takes on an entirely different character. These small sketches in stone are not intended to be seen as serious sculpture, but as sketches I do for fun, to relieve the kinks of life. Just quick studies.
