These wood “knuckles” were kept outside so long the bolts rusted solid. When I moved out of the city I cut them off so I could move the beams out here. They were in the way, so I spent a few welding rods making them dance, despite their chains.

The figure in the background and the forms suspended in the trees is “Thinking”. This photo made me chuckle when I saw it as a figure starting an enormous lawn mower engine.
