This painting was my first after leaving California and moving to Ohio, where I live to this day.I only just now made the association of the burning bridge. Funny how the subconscious mind works. This piece hangs today from the sliding door to my shop. This was also the first piece after college not to feature a coffee pot, and the coffee pot has never appeared again.
