This piece, painted shortly after graduating from Art School, features an actual American Flag and actual daisies. I painted on the flag as a canvas, as I was dead broke. I found the flag at a thrift store for a buck or two and stretched it and made it a canvas. Long ago sold, I wonder how the daisies look today. They were completely sealed in clear acrylic gel.
