I had so much fun making this frog. I knew (and know) it would be part of this community long after I’m dead, even as I made it. This is one of many such projects, but in a weird way this one is unique. This frog is communally owned, and I got to make it. Very cool.
I hope it maintains the attitude I intended through all the generations that see and touch it. I hope I am not among the last of the makers.

The frog was commissioned by the Kiwanis Club of Dublin, Ohio, to commemorate the oldest annual frog jump contest in Ohio.
Oh, Heck yes,I do remember Spring. I sure do, and I hope young hands shake hands with the frog for at least the next several hundred years.
