Rubin Fireplace

This wrap-around fireplace was my first wrap-around, and I learned a valuable lesson. Always meaure everything, and never assume the guy that came before did his job right. I am very glad that the effort I went to to make these stones fit doesn’t show.

A detailed molding adds the human touch to a formal room in a way that nothing else can.

This island fireplace is located not far from the front door of this large home. I can only imagine the effect of coming over for a holiday party with a fire raging the minute the door is opened in welcome.

The rest of the year… ok, it can just sit there and look good. But on the night it shines, it shines.
