Gathering existing things into something new, with a spirit of fun and experimentation, with my kids… lots a fun, no doubt. This piece was also told with a good deal of storytelling as we made it. I love art making as a family experience.
Having been born and largely raised in South Dakota, the bison is a big part of my youthful experience. I have always identified with the bison.
