The dog skull at the heart of this piece started the process that led to this sculpture. The autistic son of a friend found the skull while four wheeling near his home and brought it for me to make art out of it. I found marks on it that made me think it might be a result of a dog fight. I contacted my local police and the FBI and they both referred me to the other, so I made this piece to house and contain the pain of the innocent dog. A lot of my work is a nit shamanistic in character.
