What a pleasure to have worked for this family! The crew, the homeowners, the community in which they live . . . everything about this job was positive. We were given architectural plans for the house and then carte blanche for the entry. The installation was a couple of weeks on site, and the local crew was incredible. Although it is gruelingly painstaking job to install a stone ceiling, this one went remarkably well. The depth of this entry is five feet, and the height is seventeen feet; getting the arched ceiling panels to hang properly was a very delicate operation, and having succeeded as well as we did, is probably taken for granted by the visitor. Dale had fun carving the molded details, and the "sinners" in the corners speak volumes about the client's creativity and about Old World's commitment to personality in a major work. The molding carved details convey an attention to detail, (maintained throughout the home), even as one approaches the front door.
