Holocost Memorial
(Work in Progress)
Model 3'-4" Diameter
Final Work 40' Diameter
This sculpture is currently awaiting funding befroe we can begin. It will consist of six 9' tall wood figures, two life size white marble figures and over seven miles of braided naval brass wire fitted through almost one thousand cast bronze Hebrew letters that are drilled and tapped to function as turnbuckles to keep the wires tight. It was important to Dale and the commissioning group that the work allow the viewer the aspect of hope that the Nazi's failure to wipe out the world's Jewish population implies. We at Old World look forward to getting underway with this work.
