Here the cut limestone entry manages the transistion between the beautifully crafted wood front door and the equally well crafted, but much rougher, stone of the exterior.
The interior and exterior and exterior edges of this entry are carved in a rope motif. The idiot photographer (me) didn't take detail shots, but as it's a local job, hopefully that will soon be remedied.
