24" diameter, Indiana Limestone, polished bronze
Unicorns symbolize virginity; this is over the daughter's window. This rosette faces the lion. (The mother is a Bengal tiger).

Ahh, the thistle. An ancient symbol of virility. This one seems to have a bit of Art Deco in it.

The lion symbolizes everything you think it symbolizes. This is over her brother's window, about 15 feet away. (The father is a wolverine).

The wife's rosette (see the Tiger in this section). I couldn't get her to explain why she picked the Wolverine (any real football fans out there?)

24" diameter, Indiana Limestone
Yep, these people have (and love) horses. And they loved their stone ponies, too.

24" diameter, Indiana Limestone
Inspired by the mascot of the son's high school football team. We tried to keep if from being an obvious football thing for the wife, but it's there for those in the know.
