6" x 17" x 17"
Kansas Limestone
Four Herms (a traditional Greek form) representing Apollo, Athena, Dionysis and Aphrodite. Each of these Herms stands adjacent to a cherubic version of him/herself around a large residential pool. The cherubic versions are fountains (click here to view). These intimidating sculptures had to compete with a enormous, beautiful home and an Olympic size pool. Stone has a power that belies its size, and the works manage to hold their own quite nicely.
