This restaurant actually played real jazz on the sound system. Monk, Bird, Coltrane, Davis...you know the type. I loved it. We did three of these restaurants before the parent chain decided they weren't profitable enough and pulled the plug. Bummer. The work is still there - they're still restaurants - but the food and music aren't what they were. Still, the use of decorative patina (the bar, the cupboard doors, the logo, the hostess stand, etc.) was and is a very nice unifying theme.
