This client poured us each a glass of really good scotch and said, "I want a 1930's, Gothic, George Gershwin, Jazz, New York penthouse, devil's kitchen table. I don't know what it looks like but if you can design it, I'll buy it." He accepted the design without revision. This 7' square slab of the top was actually quarried for the National Cathedral in Washington, D.C.
