Life-size (dimensions variable)
Kansas Limestone, copper
Four baby Greco/Roman Gods/Goddesses (Apollo, Dionysias, Aphrodite, Athena--the adult versions are included in this project and are shown elsewhere in the site). Asked to decorate and activate this pool, Dale suggested what you see. This is a great example of contemporary classicism--Greco/Roman gods were not winged--combined with the terms (shown elsewhere) these fountains subtly activate the pool 24 hours a day, reinforce the classic design of the home, and exist as completely original works of art.
Careful observation will reveal that the plumbing is not straight; just the drilling of these crooked outlets demonstrates our commitment to perfection.
