This client was interested in something that would update her large, brick 1970's original unit. Together we worked on the designs and this tudor-ish piece is the result. The elongated lunettes make for a very interesting leaf pattern. We were quite proud of Jack's job on the very deep and difficult molding surround at the firebox opening. We found this profile pattern in an old text on architecture of Chartes cathedral and adapted it to this use.
