Texas Leuders Limestone, Wormy Chestnut

This stone, wonderfully warm and tan in color, is very soft as far as limestones go. It takes detail very well and the overall homogeneity of the color is superb. The design works very well with the clients' high ceilings and collection of native American art and artifacts. The raised hearth can be a very nice detail and works very well. The beam is chiseled and then torched, buffed and waxed to achieve this dark, yet soft, look and feel.
