Ah, such is life. One gets a killer job in Bermuda, one does the job in Ohio, then one sweats like hell while all the finished pieces travel by boat for ten days, two weeks after a hurricane, to the job site. Upon arrival and opening the container, joy was much expressed by the satisfactory state of the very well-packed stone. Put up in grand style by the client, Jack and I immensely enjoyed the crew, the island, and the challenge of doing the two arched doors on the curved walls of the pool house (whew!). There are many stories from this trip- we were on site working for two weeks strait- including Jack hitting the wild chicken on his scooter, and the afternoon we took off when Wendy's dad 's frequent flier's miles went to a good cause. Those stories will have to wait till the book comes out.
That's Dale and Wendy in the Moongate (a Bermuda specialty, and we'd quite like to make one for somebody- passing through them apparently guarantees good luck). Hats off to the Bermudians!
