Duchess White Granite
5'-3" x 3'-0" x 1'-9"

A few decades ago two of these beautiful granite keystones were sliced off the face of a turn-of-the-century granite masterpiece of a building in Manhattan. Old World was hired to replace them. We took a mold of one of the originals still left on the building, and using the maccianetta di punto (a Renaissence era three-dimensional measuring device) we were able to reproduce them almost perfectly. Our new one is the one on the right in the photo of the building's facade. We did two of these--each took almost three months to complete.
